| Leadership is being the boss and being in charge and making decisions, right? These might be true, but none of them are exactly easy, and many leaders are expected to do these things with limited training. One of the toughest things leaders do is hold difficult conversations. Some leaders say, "I'll just tell it like it is," then when they face an actual person, their words don't come as easily; neither do the answers to the questions the other person has. This workshop will discuss what makes up a difficult conversation, how to hold one, and, most importantly, participants will practice engaging in difficult conversations before they have to in real life. Participants will earn hands-on learning without real-world repercussions.
