The second year of the Construction Apprenticeship covers a wide variety of content such as commercial drawings, cold-formed steel framing, exterior finishing, thermal and moisture protection, roofing applications, doors and door hardware, drywall installation, drywall finishing, suspended ceilings, windows, door/floor/ceiling trim, cabinet installation and more. The Construction Apprenticeship is a four-year program that requires 160 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) annually and 6,000-8,000 hours of on-the-job learning.
