Communication and Conflict Management continues to be two of the most challenging aspects within our lives and organizations. Now and even more, due to our global and local challenges, we need to create a robust effort to communicate and manage issues within our work groups, through individuals and teams, and the larger organization. In this two-part course, you will engage in learning the fundamentals of communication and conflict and how the changes in your organization impact your work group and lives. We will focus on the process of communication, your personal style, personality, barriers to communication, strategies and techniques to make improvements. We will also address conflict management styles, behaviors, strategies and techniques while viewing the causes of conflict and how we can better arm ourselves to maintain effective relationships for the long term.
