You will learn how to build rapport with cases, identify their contacts, and support both cases and their contacts to stop transmission (such as COVID 19) in your community. This course will also cover several important ethical considerations, including HIPAA, cultural sensitivity and diversity surrounding contact tracing. The program is offered by LERN in conjunction with the College of DuPage, which has trained over a thousand students in contact tracing already. Preliminary information indicates that more than 100,000 contact tracers are needed immediately.
