Small Business Resilience - COVID-19 and the Family First Coronavirus Response Act

COVID-19 has changed the world as we knew it. The pandemic is such a fluid situation that changes day-to-day and staying on top of it can be overwhelming for anyone handling the new laws and rule changes. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires employers with less than 500 employees to provide all employees emergency paid sick leave and up to 12-weeks of paid medical leave. This class will cover the basics of the law, provide helpful guidance on some of the most common situations, and provide an opportunity to ask questions from a certified human resource professional.
