| Learn how low cost distributed sensor networks are built from proof of concept through prototyping, implementation, and maintenance. Students will experience hands-on experience with sensors using near field communication, Bluetooth low energy, and other telecommunications protocols as well as local area networks, internet, cloud and specialized software applications. This workshop will also show how this technology is incorporated into NIC computer science semester courses available at the Coeur d'Alene campus.
