Have you ever wanted to be the pioneer of your camping crew? Then, cooking with a Dutch oven is the way to go. Dutch oven cooking is a unique and fun way to prepare delicious meals and desserts for your friends and family. In this course, you will learn the ins and outs of cooking with a Dutch oven – and you will get to enjoy a delicious meal! Join us for a new experience that will help make you the culinary crowd-pleaser for all of your future adventures. Students must be 18 years of age or older.

Be prepared for Idaho’s weather. Bring snacks and water, sun screen, sunglasses, hat, rain coat, and bathing suit–whatever you need for comfort.

All equipment used in class activities is provided unless otherwise stated. Note- SWRC Rock Climbing classes are held indoors and are not weather-dependent.

**All Outdoor Pursuits clinics are weather dependent. While our instructors will do their best to reschedule sessions that are cancelled due to poor weather, we cannot guarantee that all sessions offered will be completed.

If your schedule does not match our offerings, Outdoor Pursuits can often schedule a private lesson in sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, or other outdoor adventures. Please contact us (208-769-7809 or terry.brinton@nic.edu) to talk about the needs of your group if you are interested.
