The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) at North Idaho College provides English language training to help participants prepare for college enrollment as well as for professional development. The full-time, non-credit program runs in eight-week sessions, meeting on the beautiful NIC campus five days a week for four hours daily. It covers a range of skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. NIC’s Intensive English Language Program is authorized to issue the I-20 form that the international student needs to apply for an F-1 student visa for full-time intensive English study.
