Ergonomics on the Move: Manual Material Handling


The class will take us through an adventure into ergonomics. We will learn how to reduce the risk of an injury caused by manual material handling. We will discuss what the injury risk factors are. Then we will apply this knowledge to identify ergonomic problems and how to fix them safely. A number of free and simple online calculators you can use at your workplace to assess moving tasks will be shown.
