Phlebotomy Technician

This 130-hour program prepares professionals to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, anatomy, physiology, blood collection procedures, hands-on specimen practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. Students will graduate with 65 successful venipunctures. This program has an online component for which you will receive an orientation on the first day of class. Textbooks, an online study guide, class materials, and the National Healthcareer Association Certified Phelbotomy Technician exam are included in registration.

It is best to register at least one week before class begins.

Students must be at least 18 years of age.

Gray scrubs (no specific hue) are required to be worn by the fourth week of class/labs.
