Class Information

North Idaho College Workforce Training Center offers 144 hours of related instruction required for plumbing apprentices working in Idaho. For more information visit: www.nic.edu/apprenticeship/plumbing. For registration assistance, please call 208-769-3214.
 

Prerequisites

• Plumbing 1: Successful completion of Plumbing 1 is required to register in Plumbing 2.
  • Anyone registered without meeting this prerequisite prior to the start of the class will be canceled from the class and risk forfeiting their registration fees if they have not canceled within the standard refund period.
• Unique Email Address: You will need a unique email address for successful registration..
• Computer and Internet Access: Regular access to a computer with high-speed internet capabilities is required.
• Age Requirement: Must be 16 or older 
  • 16 and 17-year-old apprentices are required to enter a STRAP agreement with parental approval and signature.

Location

• In Person: Plumbing Apprenticeship meets as scheduled at the North Idaho College Parker Technical Education Center in Rathdrum, ID for instruction, labs, and exams. Additional coursework is completed online in the Canvas classroom.

• Registration includes:

  • books and materials distributed on the first day of class
• Attendance
  • 100% in-person class attendance is mandatory to remain in the program

• Seats are limited  - we encourage students to register early for their preferred class day and time.
