Class Information

North Idaho College Workforce Training Center offers 144 hours of related instruction required for electrical apprentices working in Idaho. For more information visit: www.nic.edu/electrician. For registration assistance, please call 208-769-3214.

Workforce Training Center is an Idaho Electrical-approved training program. If you have questions about Washington or other state Electrical approved programs, contact apprenticeship@nic.edu.
 

Prerequisites

• A student-specific, unique email address is required for each student registered. Registrations will not process correctly without a unique email address.
• A computer or regular access to a computer with high-speed internet capabilities is required
• Must be 16 years old or older
  • 16 and 17-year-old apprentices are required to enter a STRAP agreement with parental approval and signature.

Location

Electrical Apprenticeship is a hybrid course. Apprentices meet as scheduled at the North Idaho College Workforce Training Center in Post Falls, ID for instruction, labs, and exams. Additional coursework is completed online in the Canvas classroom.

• 100% in-person class attendance is mandatory to remain in the program
