North Idaho College Workforce Training Center offers 144 hours of related instruction required for electrical apprentices working in Idaho. For more information visit:

Workforce Training Center is an Idaho Electrical-approved training program. If you have questions about Washington or other state Electrical approved programs, contact
apprenticeship@nic.edu.
Prerequisites
- Unique Email Address: You must have a unique email address for successful registration and access to Electrical 1 Correspondence.
- Computer and Internet Access: Regular access to a computer with high-speed internet capabilities is required.
- Age Requirement: Must be 16 or older.
- 16 and 17-year-old apprentices are required to enter a STRAP agreement with parental approval and signature.
Location
Electrical Apprenticeship Correspondence is primarily online and has one in-person orientation day.
Online Access: 9/27/2025-6/12/2026
Orientation: 9/27/2025, 8:00am-10:00am at the Workforce Training Center in Post Falls, ID.
