The NIC Workforce Training Center offers a federally and state-approved Related Instruction program for Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) Apprentices. This three year program offers 160 hours of related instruction per year.

This Related Instruction program provides the technical knowledge necessary to support FAA eligibility requirements for Airframe and Powerplant certification. The FAA also requires documented practical experience and supervision by a qualified individual to establish eligibility for certification testing.
